Midfielder Tim Cahill has fired back at the Australian media who had portrayed the camp as being ‘split’ following poor displays against Oman and Iraq in the Asian Cup.
Cahill came on as a substitute and set up Australia’s three late goals in their 4-0 win over Thailand which saw them advance to a quarter-final clash with defending champions Japan in Hanoi on Saturday.
