Former winner Jyoti Randhawa of India believes that the presence of big names in the US$3 million Barclays Singapore Open, dubbed the ‘Major of Asia’, will bring out the best in his powerful game and see him challenging for top spot.
Randhawa, the Asian number one in 2002, lifted the Singapore Open in 2000 and has put his European Tour campaign on hold to come back for a crack at winning the title for a second time at Sentosa Golf Club from September the 7-10.
He talked about the lessons he has learned on the European Tour and his chances of lifting Asia’s biggest prize.
