MAGNETIC DISK HERITAGE CENTER

 

The Magnetic Disk Heritage Center is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to preserve the history of magnetic disk storage and undertake the restoration one of the few 1950s’ RAMAC disk drives still in existence.  One goal is to establish at the original site where the RAMAC was created , 99 Notre Dame Avenue, San Jose, a heritage center featuring the early years of magnetic disk storage. We operate solely on private donations and in many respects due to volunteer work.  Your contribution to our activities is welcomed and would be greatly appreciated.
