This song was written in the early 90’s when I was really into the Cycle of Fifths. All the changes in this song are cycle based and I even went to the trouble of making the song exactly three minutes long hence the title. Pat Nelson laid down a great fretless bass track and Rob Taylor is outstanding on the skins as always. Wayne Free was later added on the Rhodes keyboard. Bob Stander tracked and mixed the drums and I did the rest of the engineering and production. It was much later that I got into the sport of cycling which I’m still active in today, I hope you enjoy this track as much as I did making it!
