AGNETHA’S BLOG: My uncle is teh n00b...
 
‘Sup? I swore to myself I would never post in this 14m3 4$$ blog, but my uncle threatened to call some college jerkwad instead of depending on yours truly for technical assistance. And while his setup is less than stellar (those Radio Shack guys really pulled a number on him), I’ve found the benefits of having a second, unsupervised machine to use at my leisure a very desirable benefit of this otherwise thankless task.
 
Still, much of what uncle Sam writes is pure crap. Sad but true. If the man knew his sports like he knows his faggy broadway musicals, he would be Bill-Effing-Simmons. I’ll try posting some worthy sports info, since he can’t seem to tell Renaldo Balkman from Rolando Blackman (or, for that matter, from Ronaldo Názario de Lima). And no, he won’t know I’m talking smack about him. I put all sorts of filters in his browser, and also rigged his preferences so whenever he looks for my name on the search bar he’ll get a screen saver with Jack Handy’s Deep Thoughts instead. Ha! TOTALLY PWNED!!!!!!!
 
 
Anyhoo... Mr. Bad Example wrote an interesting story on beach side bullfighting (yeech!) that got picked by the amazing Will Leitch at DEADSPIN! He gave us (realistically, me) a shout out about the blog, so be sure to check it out here.
 
Also, in non-matadors-in-speedos news, I think we all have to take a serious look at Barcelona’s Lionel Messi. He has been quick to dismiss comparisons with Maradona, even after this superb goal against Getafe, but it’s looking more and more like Argentina is going to field a seriously ass-kicking squad in the upcoming Copa America. As long as he doesn’t go the Redondo way...
 
 
Also, some UCSC guys with waaaaay too much free time on their hands made this uber-cool Donkey Kong (Right) mural with 6400 Post-It notes. You can see the whole process here, along with expanded snapshots and a time-lapse video. I’ll seriously consider applying for this one in a few more years...
