The Toledo Museum of Art has long had a great collection of glass. The week-end before we arrived they opened a new Pavilion to display their collection. Of course, it has a chandelier by Dale Chihuly in the foyer. There was a hot glass demonstration right after we entered the Pavilion. I didn’t catch the names of all the glass artists, but you’ll recognize a flared vase by Tiffany and some nested shell-like forms, also by Chihuly. The cameo vases are by Woodbridge. The Pavilion is a delightful showcase for a fine glass collection.
