WSJ: Pope Benedict XVI believes the Catholic Church must stand apart from growing secularism in the West and the rise of religious fanaticism elsewhere. This vision has sweeping implications for Catholic doctrine and its outreach to other faiths, particularly Islam. Otherwise: today’s been a rainy drab day. But got a lot of coding for work done. And Sherman, Monty, Mike and I went for a long walk around the lake----I think Sherman is really adapting to being blind. He was walking much more quickly and confidently than before. Sometimes I catch him sitting in some strange place and staring off into space, but overall I think he is doing much better. ArshBlog
