Dave’s Deliberations

Hello visitor. Welcome to Dave’s Deliberations. May you find it delightfully liberating, or at least somewhat entertaining and stimulating. I hope you’re well and in reasonably good spirits, or heading in that direction sooner than later. If not, my wish is that you make the best of riding the waves. I’m creating this site in order to communicate and collaborate with people like you. I’m guessing that you are curious, creative, and at times... confused (who wouldn’t be?!?) I figure we can enjoy the ride better together.

I’m creating this site right now using Apple’s iWeb program. My wife and I bought our first computer, a Fat Mac, back in 1985, the year before our daughter was born. My wife Andrea chose the Mac over the PC because, at the time, the PC didn’t have Windows, just DOS (you had to type in text commands to get things done--very nerdy. I figured I could learn that language, but I understood her preference). I’m also learning how to create and manage web sites using code. The text-based nerd thing is alive and well! This will be interesting.

I took the photo on the left at The Arkansas Yoga Center just after a line of thunderstorms passed over us on June 1, 2008. I include it here so I can learn how to use the text wrap-around feature. A lot of life is like this: experimentation with what you have to work with. Try something new. Your life might expand a bit. It’s not a moral issue, just an opportunity on the Menu of Life.
