Ruthven Barracks
On friday we went south down the A9 to Kingussie and visited Ruthven Barracks. This is another Historic Scotland property although we did not need our membership cards as it is surprisingly free to look round. I did a book release inside the barracks and one outside by the horses field.
After that I did a walk up Creag Bheag and released a further book whilst Nita visted Newtonmore. Having worked up an appetite we decided to hang on in Kingussie by visiting the Iona Gallery and then enjoy the excellent carvery at the Duke of Gordon Hotel.
