Two forks and a Parthenocissus

The fork pictured on the left was my Grandfathers and is at least fifty years old probably considerably more. The other day it finally cracked. Fortunately I had just received some National Garden Tokens for my birthday so I was able to go and buy the fork on the right which has a pitifully short ten year guarantee. I also purchased the pot and plant (common name Boston Ivy) to brighten up this north facing wall.

I was also lucky enough to get the following books for my birthday: A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon, Chronicles by Bob Dylan and When We Were Orphans by Kazuo Ishiguro all of which were on my wish list.
