Richard, Auldearn & Forres

We had a great day yesterday. Richard was back in town and he had a few hours so we picked him up from the ship he was on (photo above) and took him for a walk along the Caledonian Canal at Dochgarroch and then he kindly bought us lunch at the Clansman by Loch Ness.

We then took him back to his ship and we went off to look over the village of Auldearn the highlight of which is the Boath Doocot pictured left. We then went on to Forres where I climbed up to the Nelson Tower, pictured right,  while Nita looked round the town. We rounded the day off with an evening at the Culbokie Inn.
