An American Amber ale from Bear Republic Brewing, Healdsburg, California.  Big caramel maltiness and rounded hops dominated the flavor of this big beer.  Lots of carbonation; be sure to give a good hard pour into your favorite pint glass & be prepared for a long wait for the head to settle.  You’ll be glad you did, because if you pour delicately, you’ll get a fizzy, belchy mess, but if you de-carbonate properly with a hard pour, the beer will be smooth & you’ll have a terrific, huge, rocky head that’ll still be in the glass tomorrow morning.
