Sierra Nevada India Pale Ale
An English-style IPA from Chico, California.
Brewed with British malts, Magnum hops (a high alpha acid cross between American Galena and German Hallertau) for bittering and Goldings (British) on the finish. Slightly darker than Sierra’s flagship Pale Ale, the flavors are woodier, earthier instead of the bright citrus flavors you’d come to expect from Sierra. Nice bitterness, not overdone, good flavor from the malts..... nicely done. Glad to see this in bottles finally. (Next, please bottle the Harvest Ale!!)
