An Imperial Stout from North Coast Brewing, Ft. Bragg, California.

Perhaps the best American example of a Russian Imperial stout.  Big rich roasted malt flavors are held in check by a magnificently balanced hop bitterness.  They’re sharp, but end up pairing perfectly with the big malts.  Hop flavor rides the middle, and light flowery hop aromas dance in tandem with lingering malty goodness at the finish.  VERY good imperial/double stout.
