Founder’s Breakfast Stout

A stout from Founders Brewing, Grand Rapids Michigan. Great head, tiny streaming bubbles. Then the first sip....chocolate, not only from the bitter and sweetened imported chocolates added, but from the generous chocolate malts used in the mash. Then the aftertaste, mildly bitter from chocolate and the hops, and WHAM! coffee. Sumatra and Kona coffee, to be precise. Creamy oatmeal and chocolate body.....man, there's so much going on. Complex and wonderful.
8.3%abv, IBU's=25, serve at 45-50°F
