Dogfish Head World Wide Stout
An American Double Stout from Dogfish Head Brewing, Delaware. Low in carbonation, most likely because it's bottle conditioned and they expect people to age this beauty for at least a couple of years It's full flavored; lots of rich caramel and roasted malt flavors, burnt toast and coffee. It's surprisingly thin, probably because the multitude of yeasts that were employed in the creation of this huge malty beer ate every last available string of fermentable sugar until no residual malt was left. It's truly drinkable, and (no joke) half way through I was force to take a break; the alcohol was catching up with me after only 6 ounces. It's quite amazing. Every alcohol-imbibing connoisseur: beer, wine, port, whiskey, bourbon; must try this beer. Wow.
