Dogfish Head Aprihop
A fruit beer from Dogfish Head Brewing, Delaware.
Not what you’d automatically think of as a ‘fruit beer’. Yes, it’s made with fresh apricots, but that’s not the thrust of the flavor. It’s a caramely malted IPA with some apricots added in for good measure. The aroma is sweet malts, texture: medium, aroma just gives a suggestion of apricots. Very tasty beer, and at 7%, not your average summer lawn-mower beer.
