One thing I love most about Fridge Box is how many educators ALREADY see the value in something as simple as a cardboard box. “Tuggy” runs a preschool where each month, they make a "reading nook" out of a heavy box, according to the theme of the month. October was a haunted “boooooooo(k)” nook, December was a gingerbread house. According to Tuggy, “The crew always loves to help make the nook and we actually made a medieval castle last summer for one. Our school is really into recycling, and helping the planet. In fact, we recently attended a workshop on how to make your own toys using simple recylced products or very inexpensive items found at the hardware store!” Sounds a lot better than plopping a kid in front of an electronic babysitter, no? ;)
