I am thrilled to be a part of the Crane Country Day School community. This is a brand new beginning for me in many ways: a new state, a new town, a new school, but most importantly, new friends, colleagues, and students!

I have been teaching for about 15 years - give or take a semester or two. I have taught grades one through graduate school, but mostly at the elementary school. My most recent teaching experience before Crane was at Indian Creek Science and Technology Magnet Elementary School in Indianapolis, Indiana

Crane offers it’s students incredible opportunities for creative growth in all academic areas. Computer Arts will provide our students with multiple possibilities for technology integration - for instance, taking digital pictures and video from trip week back to the computer lab and then making video documentaries about those student experiences. What a combination, real life experiences recreated by our students, in the medium that defines them as our digital native generation.
