Send me a track

1.

The track can be a scratch track, a fully produced song, or anything inbetween.  MP3 is fine.

2.

This quote takes into account what key your song is in, and if the track is in tune or not with standard tuning (makes my job much more difficult).

I’ll also leave you with my telephone number, in case you’d like to discuss any special considerations or want to see how the weather is in Portland (its likely raining).

3.

You approve the price quote.

Basically, you are approving that if you like the work i’ve done, then you will buy the track.  I invest a great deal of time in my work and I want it to be a good investment of my time.

4.

You wait while I work...

I know, I hate to wait too...even for a bus or something...

Typical timeframe about 4 -5 days.  Email with any questions or concerns at any time throughout us working together...I’m always available.

5.

I’ll send you an mp3 track, with your track in the background and my string tracks in the foreground. 

Make sure you listen to them on good headphones or a nice speaker system.

If you like things as they are, then GREAT (goto step 7).  If you are almost there, we can make some fixes (goto step 4) until you are completely excited about getting the tracks for your project.

I email you an invoice for my labor.

This will be from Paypal, and will give you an option to pay with paypal account, or, if you don’t have a paypal account, by credit card.


I also take money orders, and equipment trades!!

You pay via one of the options.

I send you the tracks.

9.

Usually within a day from receiving payment.


Each track is isolated and in 24bit wav format, and each has the same start time.

I will either send files via an online transfer (you get the files immediately)...although if file sizes are too large (or you prefer), i can burn the tracks to a cdrom and mail them to you via USPS.

Please send me a final mix.

This is the part that everyone forgets about. 

Although my work is done, I’m still very interested to hear what you did with the tracks, especially if it was extra creative or interesting.


I don’t need your finished album (although would appreciate it if you did send it)...mp3 is fine.

If you don’t have access to a keyboard with a string sound, then hum or sing what it is you are looking for and include it in a separate mix, or as a separate track.
