On 20 May 2008, Anthony gently passed away at home in his bed as he wished.
Anthony had time to complete his project of Helping Oncology Patents Endure (HOPE). He received his Eagle Scout award, with a smile, several hours before he left us..
HOPE continues. It has already provided several thousands of dollars of gifts for the pediatric oncology nurses to distribute to patients at UCSF.
