Southern California's Hottest , R&B, old school funk, dance & latin band. DW3 is widely know for their remarkable vocal abilities and outstanding musicians. This LA based band is one of the most versatile bands covering everything from current R&B (Usher, Alicia Keys, Mario, Next , Muziq Soul Child) to OLD SCHOOL (Rick James, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Earth Wind & fire, Marvin Gaye ,The Gap Band) to LATIN (Celia Cruz, Poncho Sanchez, Santana, Gloria Estefan, Buena Vista Social Club) DW3 band formed in 1994 and was put together by the Mondragón brothers and cousin, which is where the name originated from (Down With 3) Since this time, they have made quite a name for themselves both locally and internationally . Their local venues include places such as Disneyland, BB Kings-universal city walk, House of blues, La County Fair, Warren Hill smooth jazz cruise, summer Concerts in the Park series, private Corporate Events and Weddings, Pechanga Casino and many other Casinos including Vegas & Laughlin. DW3 also works with many agents that book Internationally. From 1996 to present they've toured countries such as Taiwan, Guam, Japan, Germany, Bosnia, Sarajevo, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Turkey, Portugal, Kosovo, Macedonia, Virgin Islands and The Bahamas. On July 4, 2004 DW3 was asked to perform for our United State Armed Forces in Iraq. They proudly accepted this offer During their tour they received many awards from Generals and Lieutenant for their outstanding services. Upon returning , a special award ceremony was held in which they received an award from Diane Feinstein & Cruz Bustamonte for the morale, welfare and recreation of our troops. DW3 band members consist of Eric Mondragon (leader, keyboards, lead vocals) Billy Mondragon -(percussion, lead vocals) David Montelongo (lead vocals) Anthony Goss (guitar) Bryant Siono (Bass) & Ronnie Guiterrez (drums, percussion) All of these awesome musicians have played with some of the top superstar of today such as Jessica Simpsons, Marc Anthony, James Brown, Al Jarreau, Jeffrey Osborn, Poncho Sanchez, Teena Marie, Warren Hill, Jonathan Butler, Brian McKnight, War, El Chicano, Tierra, malo, Keith Sweat and many others DW3 has a strong following with a mailing list of about 300 fans locally. Their music is so versatile that its crowd pleasing for all ages. Weather you feel like doing the cha cha, getting down or simply slow dancing, this is the band for you. The band performs five nights weekly and is booked at lease two months in advance. Weddings, Corporate Parties and Holiday party bookings, can be booked eight months to one year in advance.
