Whether you’re aware of it or not, both epilepsy and autism are more common than you think and the stigma surrounding both disorders is extremely high. I am here to protest against that stigma and eliminate ignorance about them both and I hope you will join me. Hand in hand, we can raise awareness around the world by just learning about epilepsy and autism facts together and teaching others the facts as well. Just by knowing how to care for someone who has a seizure or the facts about what autism really is can make a huge impact in someone’s life- just by teaching one person at a time, we’re one more step towards eliminating the ignorance and stigma.
