Nine Bright Lights from the T.M. Peirce and John G. Whittier School left March 9th for Accra, Ghana. The students came to The Bright Lights Initiative in September and asked for this special trip for them to discover and learn more about their heritage and culture as an African people. Every other week we met at the Connie Mack Recreation Center with Bright Lights and parents to plan We hope you enjoy following our experiences.
