The Bright Lights Initiative

is not about one specific teaching method, one activity or one type of instruction. Rather, it is about creating a culture that permeates the school, home and community. This culture is one that encourages students to exhibit Bright Light principles and when they do, to receive recognition and validation from peers and family members.

Activities conducted by the BLI are designed around the following key objectives: outstanding literacy, strong cultural enrichment and positive sense of citizenship.
