Cast in RENT: The Musical
Anne Marie has been chosen for the outstanding cast of Truckee Meadows Community College Theater production of “RENT: The Musical”. Performances begin October 30th and run through November 15th. It will be a great show!

Featured Artist in Artown Festival
Reno’s famous month-long Artown Festival will feature Anne Marie at seven different events including the Crisis Call Center CHAIR-i-Tea benefit, a performance at the Reno/Tahoe airport, two concerts on the Riverwalk patio of the Wild River Grille, one concert at the two Renown Medical facilities in Reno and, subject to auditions, a return to Reno Idol.

Upcoming National Anthems
In furthering her reputation as Reno’s national anthem queen, Anne Marie will sing for the Washoe County Democratic Party’s Jefferson Jackson Brunch, the Reno Roller Girls, and the Battle Born Derby Demons.

Invited Back to Carson City
Anne Marie has been invited back to be a featured performer for this year’s Family Pop-Up Park series at the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City.

Winner of Teens in Tune Competition
Anne Marie was awarded first place vocalist in this year’s Teens In Tune musical competition, part of Reno’s annual Tune Into Kids Fair. She had won this contest in 2007 as well. On hand to announce the winner and hand Anne Marie her prize package was Miss United States, the former Miss Nevada.

Anne Marie in Three One-Act Plays for TMCC’s One Act Festival
Anne Marie was in THREE productions in TMCC’s One-Act Festival! She played Juliet in "When Shakespeare’s Ladies Meet" by Charles George, part of the three-girl Greek Chorus in “GOD” by Woody Allen, and Nina in "Women and Wallace" by Jonathan Marc Sherman.

Anne Marie Invited to Be Part of TMCC’s Musical Theater Troupe
TMCC has what is considered among the best theater programs in the state of Nevada. That makes it such a great honor that Anne Marie was invited to be one of the members of the traveling musical theater performance troupe at TMCC. She is the first high school student to participate in this best-of-the-best traveling troupe.

President Obama! Anne Marie sang the National Anthem to kick off the last campaign event in Reno featuring the new President of the United States, Barack Obama. The event took place at Peccole Stadium on the UNR campus before an estimated crowd of 11,000 people.

Reno’s National Anthem Queen Anne Marie is being called Reno’s national anthem queen. Performances include the Reno Aces, The Reno Bighorns, home openers for UNR’s football, basketball and baseball teams, Nevada Special Olympics, Reno Celebrates America, the Washoe County and State conventions of the Democratic Party and the Reno Roller Girls.

So many exciting things are happening for me these days. With all these performances coming up, this summer is going to be great! Thanks for your support. It has made all the difference in the world!
