Annapolis Apple Slice (AAS) is an Apple user group for persons who are interested in Apple Macintosh computers. Some of us also have an iPhone and/or iPod(s). AAS meets monthly from January through November in the Severna Park Branch of the Anne Arundel County Library.

We welcome visitors at ALL of our meetings.

Our next general meeting is January 23rd. There will not be a Holiday Party.

The program topic for the 23rd is here:  Programs page

Prior to that time there will be one board meeting; January 10th.

The December board meeting has been canceled.

The January board meeting will attempt to finalize the new ByLaws.

Our four officers for 2010 were voted in at the November 7 meeting. They are posted on this page: 2010 Officers

Next year’s meeting dates are in AAS’s iCal. Links to it are on the Meetings page. If you subscribe, your iCal entries will be updated when AAS updates the entries.

OR — you may download the .ics file directly from our public folder. Your webmaster will attempt to keep this file (and the Web site’s Schedule pages) up to date. From the finder’s Go menu, select:

iDisk > Other User’s Public Folder

In the dialog which appears enter: annapolisappleslice

Drag the ics file to your desktop.

Launch iCal and import that file (File menu, Import...)

Board meetings (paid members only — $5 per year, payable at any meeting) will be held at the North County Library which is located across Ritchie Highway from what used to be Harundale Mall near beautiful downtown Glen Burnie. For specific location use this link from MapQuest.  Check this iCal link for dates.

Note for ‘Switchers’ (PC users who are considering buying or have bought a Mac). A ‘Genius’ at the Apple store will migrate your files for free.

Our Public Folder also has a number of PDF documents to help you. If you have difficulties with that page, try our old style Homepage.

WiFi for our speakers is usually available through connection to the library.

Suggestions for information to be included in our monthly newsletter are welcome and can be made to its editor here: Our news editor

AAS is a member of the Macintosh User Groups (MUG) and The Apple Groups Team (TAGTeam).    TAGTeam is NOT affiliated with Apple, Inc.
