ANIMAL BEHAVIOR FIELD STUDY Troop 896      The lemurs were very locomotive & screeched at each other a lot. They also slept very little. The Red Ruffed Lemurs were in an enclosed habitat and were surrounded by hay, rocks, branches, and food. They never looked for food, but used the restroom numerous times, followed by a thorough grooming. The males were a lighter shade of orange than the females. The lemurs had black tails. They were fun to watch and were very active!
