ANIMAL BEHAVIOR FIELD STUDY Troop 327      The first five minutes, Ursula started looking for food and resting. She also scratched herself on a little tree. For the rest of the time, she basically did the same thing. She spent a lot of time eating.

Mimi was another one of the bears. She spent the first ten minutes of her time eating, looking for food, and walking. Later she went into the bear house. She stayed inside for a minute or two, then she went out into the fenced area. The last five minutes she drank some water and rested.

We had fun observing the habitat of black bears. We wish we could do it again!
