ANIMAL BEHAVIOR FIELD STUDY Girl Scout Troop 1626 We observed the behavior of two red wolves, a male and a female. The male wolf walked back and forth near the top of the enclosure for most of the 20 minutes observational period. The female was initially groomed herself before falling asleep with her head resting on a rock. The pictures are of the male wolf pacing on top of the hill. The female wolf was in heat and the staff is hoping to have wolf babies to release into the wild.
