ANIMAL BEHAVIOR FIELD STUDY Forest View
This picture is about the Red wolves just walking around looking for food.

Red wolves grow up to 24 to 48 inches tall.

Red wolves are very intelligent.  They also walk on their toes.

Some of the behaviors that we saw were resting and locomoting.  When resting, they were laying above the den.  When they were locomoting, they were walking across the top of the den.  They often walked up the dirt hill.

Another behavior that we observed was drinking.  The wolves put their paws into the water and drank.

Playing was also a behavior the wolves showed.  They were pushing and jumping on each other.  They also seemed to be hiding from each other.
