How we recruit:
We will arrange for you to come along to one of our session to meet the young people, volunteers & leaders.
Before the session you will meet with both Jayne & Angela (Drama facilitators) who will explain to you what will happen during the session, give you information about the group and answer any of your questions. Your initial role in this session will be more observing but joining in & taking part in games and exercises, you will have the opportunity to chat with the volunteers & Young people to find out more what we do.
After the session you will have a brief chat with Jayne & Angela to discuss how you feel the session went and talk about volunteer opportunities’ in the future and if you feel it would be something you would like to continue..
Before you will able to start volunteering with us we will need 2 references from you and we will need to apply for an up dated CRB.
When references have been checked & we receive your CRB we will be in touch to arrange for you to attend an induction day (Induction Day covers: Deaf awareness Training, child Protection Training, practical training on how to adapt games and exercises for an integrated group & an induction pack with information about our organization, our ethos & how we run our Youth Theatre).
