An Interview with Brother Loughlan Sofiled S.T.
In November 2006 Loughlan Sofield visited the Archdiocese of Armagh, working with the diocesan pastoral council and then with the priests of the diocese. While he was with us he took some time to offer his thoughts on the development of parish pastoral councils.
What Louglan has to say in these eleven segments can inform and shape the thinking of all people involved with parish pastoral councils or who simply want to know more about them. In the concluding section you will be offered a series of questions which you could reflect on individually or with other at another time.
There is no need to watch every segment in one sitting. Better perhaps to watch one segment a couple of times and mull over it for a couple of days before moving on to the next section. The order of the segments reflect the order of the questions as they were asked.
Brother Loughlan Sofield, S.T. is a member of the community of the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity. He has worked internationally as a speaker and consultant to Religious Communities and dioceses. He is the senior editor of Human Development Magazine. He has served on the faculties and lectured at the Washington Theological Union, Georgetown, Notre Dame, San Francisco and Catholic Universities.
