Leica M6 Wetzlar classic w/MP upgrades - $2295
Includes MP flare-free optics, MP multi-coated windows, MP lens lock button, and MP a-la-carte vulkanit. Purchased brand new in Feb 2008 from Photo Arsenal in Germany. DAG Camera has just completed the upgrades, and because it had been sealed on a stockroom shelf for a good 20 years, I had DAG do a complete CLA as well. All original packaging, paperwork, lens release button, collectible M6 brochure, and even an extra Leitz logo dot included. Aside from having the pleasure of opening the plastic for the first time, this will feel like a brand new purchase to you as well. It has been only briefly handled and tested on half a roll of film. Though I use my set of MPs exclusively, I purchased this M6 just for the fun of it and for it's historical significance. I found and purchased it in February as brand new old stock, and when it arrived, I immediately sent it off to Don Goldberg, DAG Camera, for the numerous MP upgrades listed above. In the few months since, while it was away at servicing, I decided that my money was best utilized elsewhere. So... here's a brand new "M6P", ready to go! As you probably already appreciate, the cost of the new M6 and more than $700 in service and upgrades far exceeds the price I'm asking. If camera does not sell quickly, as I expect it will, other reasonable offers will be considered.
