The process of becoming a participant with The Village is simple... To be considered for residency, job placement, education, training, etc. download the application using the link above (the rules are attached, too). Either mail the application to our mailing address (The Village, 612 32nd Street South #102, Birmingham, Alabama 35233) or fax it (this is the preferred method- fax to 888.258.1158).


In order to assist in job placement, gather information to provide access to available programs (that cover everything from housing to transportation, to medications, to benefits to children, etc.), it will require that you complete the application before submitting it to us.


Furthermore, The Village is not a “transitional house,” in that we simply provide a place for people to stay. It is possible we can help you with housing if you need it- but our space is limited due to local ordinances. We can assist you if you have another place to stay, as well, and are needing to access the educational, job placement, and other opportunities which are available to you.


Our goal is to facilitate reentry and restoration for all of life- to rebuild families, to restore finances, to help people move ahead so that they, too, might help others.. As such, we prefer to work with those who have past issues that they desire to overcome- while moving ahead towards healing and wholeness.
