This is my first entry in a while.  In February my hard drive crashed.  Yes, even Mac hard drives can crash.  Since my computer was still under its extended warranty, an authorized technician in Lima could replace my hard drive for free.  But first there was a misdiagnosis that I didn’t find out about until I got to Lima to pick up the computer.  Then they had to order the hard drive from the US.  So after 7 weeks, I finally got my computer back.  If this had happened in the States, I would have had my computer back in 4 days.  I have learned that good customer service is really only a North American phenomenon.  I am also really grateful that my parents gave me an external hard drive for Christmas.  Almost everything was backed up!  

 

So now I have my computer back and I will be able to update this site, send newsletters, communicate freely, and download new episodes of “24” every week.
