This Sunday evening I will be giving the message during the youth service.  It will be my first time speaking publicly in Spanish.  This is a great opportunity for me to share what God has been laying on my heart with the youth.  I think I will be talking on Romans 8:15, how God is our father.  Please pray for me as I prepare the message and give it on Sunday.  Pray that God will use me to bring His message to the youth in the church.  

 

 

So I was the preacher man tonight at the youth service.  It went very well.  Beforehand, I was anxious about talking in Spanish, worried about making mistakes or not being clear.  However, God really blessed me.  He gave me a comfort as I was talking that is not at all natural to me when I am in front of a group.  I was able to improvise, elaborate, and even told some cheesy Andrew-style jokes...all in Spanish.  I hope that the youth of the church can really understand and know God as their father, that He would be their comfort and that their hope would rest in the Lord.
