I will be back in the U.S. on September 25. With only a short time left in Peru, people have been asking me what I will miss about Peru and what I look forward to in the States. So here are some answers. In case you can’t tell, some are slightly facetious, others are very true.

10. The unique possibility of eating guinea pig on any given day

8. Looking out my window at mountains higher than anything in the
continental U.S.
7. Hiking up really tall mountains
6. Living in an area full of history and beauty, and taking it for granted

4. Being immersed in two different cultures, neither of which are my
own
