I was born in Homs, a small town on the Mediterranean Sea, approximately 60 miles east of Tripoli, Libya. I was three years old when we left there for Tripoli and my only memories are the beach

I have always thought of my Parents as “simple” people. They have always worked very hard and Family has ALWAYS come first for them.

The main reason for undertaking such “monument” has been the constant encouragement from my wife Victoria and the fact that I wanted to leave all four of our children a part of my ancestors, a part of the country I was born in and maybe even a part of me…

I am a “Forgotten Jew.” I am one of many thousands who was forced to leave the country of birth without rhyme or reason. To fully understand the arrival of this devastation, this absolute failure and creation of humiliating and embarrassing circumstances, one must glance at our people’s history.
