Amora is a professional belly dancer and teacher in the DFW area.  She performs at area restaurants, and is available for private parties, belly grams, and private lessons. Amora began her dance training at the age of seven making the shift to Belly Dance in 2004.  She is continuously studying several forms of dance to polish her individual style.  Amora’s performance style is Egyptian, Raks Sharqi, with a fluid grace influence from her ballet background.  Her performances are fun and highly interactive with the audience.  She was house dancer at Habibi Cafe in Richardson for several years.  Amora has been a member of the troupe Ravenar since 2006.  They perform themed dance shows at Conventions throughout the nation.  She has studied with Asrai, Suzanna Del Veccio, Zahra Zuhair, Katia of Albuquerque, Astryd Farah deMichele, Mustapha, Aida Nour, Asmahan, and Angelika.  Amora competed in the 2009 Queen of Raks Sharqi Competition.

    Amora teaches at the United Dance Academy in Dallas.  Classes are Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30.  You are welcome to come learn the fascinating art of belly dance. 

    Her modeling photos can be seen on the Babes with Blades website (as Farasha) as well as The Rose and Dagger Studio site.  She frequently works as a photographer's assistant and makeup artist for these sites as well.  Her print work (photos) has been nationally aired on the ask.com commercial Chicks with Swords.  Her hobbies include costume design, skeet shooting, competition fencing, and golf.
