In the Fall of 2008 I traveled throughout Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Peru, and learned the indigenous art form of Macrame. I returned to the United States and began creating my own line of wearable art, fusing the artistic traditions of South America with some of the art and design theories and practices I learned when earning my Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree from Purchase College in New York.
My 2009 Jewelry Collection consists of handmade original designs using Macrame techniques with authentic Brazilian cord and various alternative materials, such as canvas, vinyl, leather, paint, collage, stone, glass and ceramic beads. These pieces are available in a variety of colors and sizes.
All earwires are hypo-allergenic and nickel free.
