Losing my Dad was a painful experience.

Until he died in 2006 I didn’t appreciate the enormity of his influence.

I still miss him but I’ve learned to live through the emptiness and I’m comforted knowing that he lives on through me.

This song is an exploration of grief and a dedication to how wonderful he was.

It features on my album ‘Goodbye Youth’ which is still in production.

I’ve loved working on this album; my labour of love. Of course it only dips into the surface of my life, a fraction of my youth and is a coming of age reflection.

‘Goodbye Youth’ is fundamentally my introspective view on getting older.
