Every WayFarer has a story.  Every traveler tells a tale.

And in this life… you have to make a name for yourself.

“Racing History” is an ambitious five-volume sci-fi series that proudly flaunts its appreciation for pop culture: music, film, comics, television, video-games, and yes literature of all kinds. In this episodic series, the author dares to challenge many of today’s boundaries in science fiction. it’s the full story of a singular moment in history, not just Earth history or even human history, but the story of everybody — and the how and why that make all the difference. One person can change the world, and the right people can make history. Sometimes silly, sometimes scary, alternately tragic and triumphant, but never boring, this is epic space-punk: space opera with a cyberpunk attitude and a touch of film noir.

NOTE:  Long ago, the great Harlan Ellison gave the name “skiffy” (from “sci-fi”) to all cheesy adventurous science fiction practiced by hack writers with more imagination than their craft could live up to...  Now, like some folks have done with other infamous words, we purveyors of such fiction (well, sorta’) are taking back and embracing SKIFFY to mean what WE think it ought to mean!  We think he would have approved — or at least gotten a good laugh out of it.

an indie author flies under the radar.......

Meanwhile...

Independent film is cool.  Independent music is hip.  Independent artists have integrity.  But what about independent writers?  A bunch of bloggers and naive fools?  Deluded dreamers, perhaps?  Or just self-indulgent amateurs in desperate need of an editor...  Well, maybe, just maybe... an independent writer might be a radical thinker subverting the corporate blockbuster mentality, standing up and sneezing “Bu11$h!t” to an entertainment industry that employs far more middle men than it does actual entertainers.  Never mind who makes the most money off it all — you really don’t wanna’ know, believe me.

So... is this the future of publishing?  Well, part of it, certainly.

    Eh... You be the judge.
