Alpine Summit Programs Employment Information

DESCRIPTION:  Alpine Summit Programs operates Summit High School, Summit Middle School, and a district-wide mentoring program.  Each program serves students who are at risk for educational failure.  Some students are in custody of the State of Utah for reasons of delinquency or neglect.  Class sizes typically range from 8 to 16 students.  Teaching assistants, tutoring, and counseling support are also offered. Alpine Summit is a dynamic, forward-looking school organization, working to be the premier provider in the country of services to at-risk students.

GOALS:  The mission of Alpine Summit Programs is to save and improve lives through education and caring relationships.  We strive to reach students who have not previously found success in school.  Improving reading, math, and writing skills, earning credit toward graduation are key goals of our programs.  We encourage personal development and expose students to arts and community involvement through attendance at plays, musical performances, sporting events, service projects, outdoor education, and other activities. We offer college scholarships to all of our students.
