Internet for Seniors - Basic Interesting Web Site for Newbies
This is a list of some interesting Web sites that may be of help in “learning” the Internet. The list includes those which were included in the list handed out at the October 17 class session. It also includes some “mouse practice” site, which I encourage you to try. Please don’t hesitate to contact me by email or by telephone (230-1215) if you have any difficulty in opening a Web page using the links on the list. To the extent possible, I have tried to double-check each Web address and make sure it works. By the way, this Web page will be available for a limited time. You may wish to print it for future reference. Mail program will be used. If you become familiar with the Yahoo! Mail program is quite easy to understand and use, but these next few Web sites will provide some help in getting started. Searching for information is as much fun as finding it! How do you search? Follow along for some pointers.
