My husband Doug and I are band directors so music has always been a huge part of our lives.  When our children came along, we decided it would be best for one of us to stay home.  Lucky me!  Through the challenge of balancing a reduced budget, I experienced a crash course in creative living. Creating inexpensive meals evolved into decorating our home with garage sale finds, thrift store purchases and salvaged materials and then ultimately to the creation of the Syncopation Company.  Now, nothing gets thrown away without being given a second look.
