When we met the group for the first time we wanted to give them an idea of how images and sound could be used together quickly to achieve a ‘scratch’ art installation.

 

The participants set about the task of recording different sound sources from within the environment they were in in. They then took a digital picture of the sound’s source.

 

We then created a rhythm using the recorded sounds and played the images back at their corresponding point by using a projector and VJ’ing (Video Jockey) software.
