Although happy and energetic, our little Adeline still does not consider eating a priority.  She actually has not gained any weight for 2 months now.  Recently, we also discovered that she is allergic to both milk and egg products, making it even more difficult to find enticing things for her to eat.  Her doctors want her to gain a certain amount of weight this month to play catch up for that last few months so she can get back on track with her regular “catch up growth” plan (sounds complicated I know!).  We’ve now had to put her on another medication to try to stimulate her appetite, and she is scheduled for yet another nuclear scan next week of her tummy to make sure that her current medication is working properly.  We would so appreciate your prayers for her.  First of all, that she would gain enough weight this month, and secondly, that the medication that she is on is still working so that we won’t have to consider a more aggressive treatment.  

 

Thank you to all of you who have continued to pray for Adeline.  We are in a much different place this year than we were last year, and we are so thankful for that.  We trust that the Lord will continue to heal her tiny little body.
