For all of you who are praying for my mom I wanted you to have a picture to go with the name. This is my mom, Bonnie. Isn’t she beautiful!? Mom has been diagnosed with breast cancer and was scheduled for surgery on Tuesday but because her surgeon was stranded out of state due to a cancelled flight her surgery was moved to yesterday morning instead. The procedure was fairly involved as the Dr. did remove a large tumor and also found cancer in her lymphnodes as well. However, she did really well (typical “Bonnie” style)! We are so thankful. She had a great night and expects to go home today. Please continue to pray for her as she has a long road ahead with several weeks of both chemotherapy and radiation. My mom is such a strong person and we are confident that the Lord is going to carry her through this. Psalm 116: 1-7  1 I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; 
       he heard my cry for mercy.  2 Because he turned his ear to me, 
       I will call on him as long as I live.  3 The cords of death entangled me, 
       the anguish of the grave came upon me; 
       I was overcome by trouble and sorrow.  4 Then I called on the name of the LORD : 
       "O LORD, save me!"  5 The LORD is gracious and righteous; 
       our God is full of compassion.  6 The LORD protects the simplehearted; 
       when I was in great need, he saved me.  7 Be at rest once more, O my soul, 
       for the LORD has been good to you.
