Sex is fun. Art if fun. What's not to love when the two collide in a messy embrace?

Following are eight paper Shunga cut-outs. These works are inspired by Japanese erotic "Shunga" woodblock prints, which have influenced artists through the ages. Matisse and Picasso drew on Japanese woodblock prints for inspiration, which is evident in the strong contour lines and deliberate composition of their more famous works. Matisse, at the end of his life started creating his famous paper cut-outs, often referred to as sculptures of color. My Shunga cut-outs reflect this influence through the medium and color, bringing a child-like sense of mischief to sex.

(Except for "Parched Spirit" all Erotic Shunga Cut-Outs are framed sandwiched between two sheets of clear acrylic allowing them to "float" when hung.)
